Thanksgiving is fast approaching, leaving some in the Myrtle Beach area who don’t want to cook scrambling for dinner plans.

For those planning to spend the holiday on the Grand Strand, there’s no need to labor over preparing the perfect meal. Twenty-one local restaurants will be serving up hot meals .

Carolina Seafood and Steak — 9911 N. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach

Carolina Seafood and Steak is serving up a special Thanksgiving menu from noon to 9 p.m., with takeout available. Diners can enjoy cornbread, seafood pasta, turkey, honey glazed ham and more. Adults eat for $55, and kids under age 12 eat for $29. Reservations can be made by calling 843-945-9288.

Black Drum Brewing — 9800 Queensway Blvd., Myrtle Beach

Thanksgiving at Black Drum is a family-style feast featuring an all-you-can-eat menu of cider-brined turkey, maple-smoked ham, calabash fried oysters and more. All the food is accompanied by the brewery’s selection of over 40 beers on tap. The dinner runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and reservations are encouraged.

Café Amalfi — 10000 Beach Club Drive, Myrtle Beach

The Thanksgiving buffet at Amalfi features classic holiday favorites such as fried Amish turkey, maple-glazed ham, cola-glazed short ribs and holiday pies. Meals begin at 10 a.m. and can be booked in advance online. Adults eat for $49, seniors eat for $36 and children ages 3-12 eat for $25.

House of Blues Myrtle Beach — 4640 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach

The Southern Thanksgiving Feast at House of Blues will run from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and feature live music from The Mike Duva Duo. The menu will feature Thanksgiving classics and southern favorites. Adults eat for $47, Children ages 4-10 eat for $23, and children 3 and younger eat for free. Reservations can be made by calling 843-913-3746.

Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen — 1202 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach

Paula Deen’s will be open on Thanksgiving with a menu of classic favorites. No reservations are required, and the restaurant will also be offering catering for pickup on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. before Thanksgiving. Call 843-945-1072 for the menu.

Thoroughbreds Chophouse — 9706 N. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach

At Thoroughbreds Chophouse, diners can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal on-site, or bring one home. The in-restaurant dinner features three courses for $65, lowered to $25 for children ages 12 and under. The take-home dinner for four is $225. Reservations and pre-orders can be placed by calling 843-497-2636.

Cracker Barrel — Multiple locations

Cracker Barrel will once again be doling out its heat-and-serve meals. Diners can purchase the Choose a Feast, which feeds 8 to 10 people, or the Family Dinner, which feeds 4 to 6. Prices vary by the meal chosen. Pickups will be scheduled for Nov. 24 and 25.

The Hangout — 1181 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach

The Hangout will serve a family-style Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The menu features biscuits, bacon, turkey, and other holiday favorites. Adults can dine for $32.99, children ages 5 to 10 for $14.99 and kids under age 5 for free. Reservations for the all-you-can-eat meal can be made online.

Crooked Hammock Brewery — 4924 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach

The Thanksgiving Feast at Crooked Hammock is a buffet-style dining experience with three proteins, six appetizers and 10 sides. The feast is $39 for adults and $19 for kids ages 12 and younger.. Reservations can be made online, but parties of more than 10 should call 302-644-7837. The dinner will run from noon to 4 p.m.

Wahoos Fish House — 3993 US 17 Business, Murrells Inlet

From 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wahoos Fish House will be serving up a combination of Thanksgiving classics and beloved southern seafood. Adults eat for $44.95, kids ages 6 to 11 for $15.95 and kids age 5 and younger for free. Reservations can be made by calling 843-651-5800.

Chestnut Hill Restaurant — 9922 N. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach

Chestnut Hill Restaurant hosts a Thanksgiving buffet from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with Thanksgiving classics, southern flavors and seafood options. Reservations can be made by calling 843-449-3984.

Hungry Howie’s Pizza — 1401 S. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach

For those looking for a less traditional Thanksgiving meal, Hungry Howie’s will be open for pickup and delivery on Thanksgiving, offering their selection of pizzas. Orders can be placed at 843-444-2000.

The Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro — 4269 Luck Ave., Little River

The Brentwood will offer its family-style Thanksgiving Day Dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., providing a menu full of holiday classics. Adults eat for $59.99, children ages 4 to 12 for $12.95 and children ages 3 and younger for free. Reservations can be made by calling 843-249-2601.

Greg Norman Australian Grille — 4930 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach

Greg Norman will be serving their special Thanksgiving menu from noon to 8 p.m. on the holiday, with options of turkey, salmon and beef dinners. Reservations can be made by calling 843-361-0000.

21 Main — 712 North Beach Blvd., North Myrtle Beach

21 Main will serve Thanksgiving meals from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring dishes ranging from whipped potatoes and turkey, to shrimp creole. Dinners are $65 for adults and $25 for children age 12 and younger. Call 843-282-7100 to make a reservation.

The Oyster Rock — 9931 Nance St., Calabash, North Carolina

Oyster Rock will be open on Thanksgiving for festive meals and drinks. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., guests can enjoy a Thanksgiving menu with a choice of steak, flounder or turkey. The meal is $49 for adults and $24 for kids age 12 and younger. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 910-579-6875. Walk-ins will be welcome at the Inside Bar, and the Dock Bar will be open for cocktails and appetizers.

Clark’s Seafood & Chop House — 720 Highway 17, Little River

Clark’s Seafood & Chop House will be open on Thanksgiving with a holiday menu that includes such options as prime rib or turkey and ham. Adults eat for $46 and children ages 12 and younger eat for $23. The dinner will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Call 843-399-8888 to make a reservation, or walk in to enjoy a seat at the Patio Bar, Inside Bar or high-top cocktail tables. Takeout preorders are also available, and end on Sunday, Nov 23.

Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse — 2920 Hollywood Drive, Myrtle Beach, or 1315 Highway 17 North, North Myrtle Beach

The Thanksgiving Day Feast at Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse will start at noon and end at 10 p.m. at both of their Myrtle Beach area locations. Reservations for Myrtle Beach can be made by calling 843-839-0777, and reservations for North Myrtle Beach can be made by calling 843-492-9777.

Captain George’s — 1401 29th Ave., North Extension, Myrtle Beach

Captain George’s is open on Thanksgiving and serves up a special Thanksgiving buffet at all of its locations in the Carolinas and Virginia. The buffet opens at 11 a.m. and costs $49.99.

Giant Crab — 9597 N. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach

The Giant Crab will once again host its Thanksgiving Day buffet this year. The Thanksgiving buffet does not take reservations, according to the restaurant’s reply to commenters on Facebook in October.

The Ellie Beach Resort — 3200 S. Ocean Boulevard, Myrtle Beach

The Ellie Beach Resort will host a chef-curated Thanksgiving buffet with seatings at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. The menu includes glazed roast turkey, slow-roasted prime rib, cornbread, sweet potato casserole, bourbon pecan pie and more.

Adults eat for $48.99, and kids eat for $29, which is inclusive of complimentary nonalcoholic beverages. Seats can be booked online.
