A new boutique embracing coastal cowgirl vibes is coming to Myrtle Beach
A new store selling beachy and western wear for women and girls is coming to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Preparations are underway for Boots N Bikinis to open for business on Saturday, Nov. 1.
“When I think of Myrtle Beach, I just think of bathing suits, beach and cowgirl boots, because it’s still kind of country,” said owner Stacy Kjaer. “It’s like country at the beach.”
Located at 3064 Howard Ave., the boutique fills the former Southern Living Store space in the Market Common.
“I always admired this area,” Kjaer said of the Market Common. “I like the vibe here, I like that it’s kind of its own village. It reminds me of a small town.”
Like the name suggests, Boots N Bikinis will primarily stock swimwear and cowgirl boots. According to Kjaer, prices will range from around $30 to $200 for swim sets. Brands include Body Glove, Edion and Luli Fama.
For the boots, some pairs will sell for under $100, while others will cost a couple of hundred dollars.
“I have more affordable options and then…if you want more authentic, then you’re going to pay a little bit more,” Kjaer said. “So I have a range of it all.”
Beyond the titular boots and bikinis, the shop will offer hats, t-shirts, tumblers, wine glasses and more, all matching the coastal cowgirl vibe.
“I feel like we need more of that in Myrtle Beach,” said Kjaer.
