Known for its chicken, this Columbia restaurant is opening spot in Myrtle Beach
A Columbia restaurant known for its chicken and dishes that highlight South American flavors is opening a second location in Myrtle Beach.
Braza Chicken is set to open in the coming weeks at 2302 N. Kings Highway. The building is a former Arby’s.
A message left for owner Juliano Lara, who is originally from Brazil, was not immediately returned.
The restaurant posted on its Facebook page about the new location.
The restaurant’s specialty is its rotisserie Peruvian chicken, which is marinated for 48 hours in a blend of Peruvian spices. In addition, it offers other dishes, such as empanadas, steak, bowls with chicken, steak or shrimp, burritos and desserts that include tres leches cake and churros.
A person answering the phone at the Columbia restaurant said that the Myrtle Beach location could open as early as next week.
