Myrtle Beach man dies days after crash along Highway 17, coroner says
A 77-year-old Myrtle Beach man died three days after he was involved in a crash on Highway 17.
Tony Lam died on Oct. 6, 2025, from injuries he received in a traffic collision that occurred on Oct. 3, 2025, at the intersection of Highway 17 and Lake Arrowhead Road, according to Horry County Deputy Chief Coroner Tamara Willard.
Lam was transported to the hospital after the crash where he died days later.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
