Huntington Beach State Park, located in Murrells Inlet, often receives accolades for its stunning, natural beauty that includes a vast salt marsh, maritime forest and shoreline along the Atlantic Ocean.
In addition to its nature offerings, the online geography resource also noted the park’s year-round camping, as well as the historic Atalaya Castle, which was the winter home of Archer Huntington and his wife, Anna.
