When is the 2025 Myrtle Beach fall bike rally? Bike week dates to know
Kids are back in school, the summer tourist season is wrapping up and autumn is slowly cooling the South Carolina summer heat. In the Grand Strand, that means it’s time to get ready for another bike rally.
Dubbed fall bike week, fall bike rally or simply fall rally, the celebration of all things motorcycles brings in thousands of visitors every year. Here’s when locals, longtime ralliers and autumn tourists can expect bike rally action in the Myrtle Beach area this fall.
When is the 2025 Myrtle Beach fall bike rally?
Communities across the Grand Strand will see bikers roll through at the end of September into the start of October, though there aren’t exact dates to mark off.
The Myrtle Beach Bike Rally Promotions Committee, which promotes the local fall and spring rallies, set this year’s dates from Friday, Sept. 26 through Sunday, Oct. 5.
Biker favorites like The Beaver Bar and Suck Bang Blow will also welcome ralliers with events from the weekend of Friday, Sept. 26 through the weekend of Friday, Oct. 3.
However other organizations consider the last Monday in September the fall rally kickoff. This year, that means Monday, Sept. 29.
Why do date listings for the Myrtle Beach fall bike rally vary?
Because the fall bike rally isn’t an officially organized convention, it doesn’t have definitive start and end dates. While it’s widely agreed this year’s rally will end on Oct. 5, start dates vary.
“Nobody owns this event,” said Myrtle Beach Bike Rally Promotions Committee chairperson Lee “Spider” Webb. “If anybody owns this event, it’s our biker visitors and our community, but there’s no one owner.”
Instead, bikers join up for rides, parties, contests and vendors around the Myrtle Beach area, particularly in the South Strand. The decision to stay the entire 10-day stretch, visit just for the weekends, wait until Sept. 29 or pick one weekend is different for every rallygoer.
When is the Myrtle Beach fall bike rally busiest?
The fall rally is smaller than its spring counterpart, but it still draws considerable crowds and grows every year, according to Suck Bang Blow manager Bill Barber. Insiders agree that, while plenty of bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts show out for the weekend of Friday, Sept. 26, the second weekend of Friday, Oct. 3 will be busier.
“The last four days of this rally are just as good as the last four days of the other rally,” Barber said. “The difference is the first five days are slower.”
