The public is being asked to keep away from the vessel until it can be safely removed, Horry County Police said in a Facebook post. Horry County Police Department Beach Patrol will be present in the area.

The boat isn’t the first to wash ashore in recent months. In May, a tiki boat broke loose and floated into the ocean before washing ashore.
