Horry County motorcycle crash killed Ocean Isle man, coroner says
An Horry County motorcycle crash on Friday claimed one life. The victim’s name has been released by the coroner.
Eric Odom, 41, of Ocean Isle Beach, died at the hospital from injuries sustained in the crash, which took place in Little River, according to an email from the coroner’s office.
Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched to the scene of the crash in the area of Highway 17 and Palmetto Avenue at 7:50 p.m., according to a Facebook post by the department.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Horry County Police assisted at the scene Friday.
