One person died over the weekend in a single-vehicle crash in Horry County.

Bradley Gore II, 29, of Little River, died in the hospital as a result of injuries sustained during the acciden that took place on Highway 57 near Frank Gore Road early Sunday morning, according to an email from the Horry County coroner’s office.

Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched to the scene of the accident at 4:57 a.m. on Sunday.

Gore was the only occupant of the vehicle, according to an email from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, which is investigating the crash. He was traveling south when his vehicle went off the road to the right and struck a tree, culvert and mailbox before overturning and striking a ditch SCHP said.

No further information has been released.
