A Conway home exploded Friday morning, according to Horry County Fire Rescue.

Fire rescuers and Horry County Police Department officers were dispatched after receiving a report of a structure fire on Climbing Vine Court off S.C. Highway 90.

The fire was supposedly caused by an explosion in the home’s garage causing smoke to spread through the house, HCFR said in a Facebook post.

None of the six residents and two cats in the home were injured. The cats were given oxygen masks.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, HCFR said.
