SC man killed in two-vehicle crash in Conway. Coroner names victim
A South Carolina man died after a two-vehicle crash that happened July 13.
Fausto Lopez Patishtan, 26, of Gresham, died of blunt trauma when the vehicle he was operating struck another vehicle near 6400 Highway 378 in Conway, according to an email from Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the area at 9:39 p.m. of Highway 378 and Oak Grove Road. Two people were taken to the hospital with injuries, according to a Facebook post.
The crash involved entrapment and rescue crews had to use extrication operations.
Please avoid the area of the Highway 378 and Oak Grove Road in Conway, as all lanes of Highway 378 traffic are currently blocked due to a two-vehicle crash with entrapment.
Extrication operations are being deployed by Horry County Fire Rescue crews.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
