Kasich brings presidential campaign to Myrtle Beach Monday

The GOP primary debate may have gone to Greenville, but the Myrtle Beach area is getting plenty of love from GOP candidates seeking to capture support for South Carolina’s traditionally first-in-the-south primary, tentatively scheduled for Feb. 20, 2016

The next visitor will be Ohio Gov. John Kasich on Monday. He’ll be speaking at an APPS (Americans for Peace, Prosperity and Security) National Security Forum in the Tom Maeser Auditorium, 950 Crabtree Lane on the Horry Georgetown Technical College Myrtle Beach campus.

Doors open at 4:30, program begins at 5 p.m. There’s no cost but attendees need to RSVP at http://bit.ly/1WmVY1Y .
