Road closure announced after two-vehicle crash near Socastee Swing Bridge
A crash has resulted in a road closure in Socastee and one hospitalization, according to Horry County Fire Rescue.
In a post on the agency’s Facebook page, it asked people to avoid Dick Pond Road at the Socastee Swing Bridge due to a two-vehicle crash that has closed all lanes of traffic and left one person in the hospital with unspecified injuries.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the crash, the post said.
