2 die in Myrtle Beach area motorcycle crash. It’s the third fatal biker crash in days
Two people are dead after a motorcycle crash Monday in the Myrtle Beach area.
This is the third fatal motorcycle accident in days. All of them happened during the 2025 Myrtle Bike Rally, which wrapped up on Sunday.
Keith Watts, 36, of Green Sea, and Ashley Osborne, 34, of Monroe, Michigan, died from their injuries, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden in an email.
The accident happened about 12:15 a.m. May 19, 2025, on Towne Centre Parkway near Breakers Drive, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Sgt. Tyler Tidwell.
There were two people on a 2004 Honda motorcycle. The motorcycle ran off the road, struck a curb and then a utility box, Tidwell said.
Both people died on the scene.
