The National Weather Service predicts showers and thunderstorms in Myrtle Beach today, mainly before noon. The day is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 77 degrees and a 70% chance of precipitation.

The worst of this morning’s weather appears to have passed on the NWS radar, but a PGA spokesperson said the tournament couldn’t rule out further delays if inclement weather returns.
