A jet ski crash along the Intracoastal Waterway sent three people to the hospital.

The jet ski driver hit a dock near Riverside Drive, said Lt. Charlotte McKee with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources in an email to The Sun News. There were three people riding the water vehicle at the time and they received minor injuries.

The crash happened on Tuesday at about 4:22 p.m. in the Forestbrook area, according to a Facebook post from Horry County Fire Rescue.

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is investigating the crash.

“As a reminder, SCDNR offers free, in-person boating education classes across the state. A full list of available classes can be found here,” McKee said in her email.
