Shooting in Socastee area leaves person with critical injuries. Here’s what we know
Horry County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the Socastee area a little before 11:30 a.m. Friday.
Police said in a Facebook post that the shooting happened off of Ivystone Drive.
Critical injuries are being reported.
Police said that all parties associated with the incident are accounted for and that there is no threat to the community.
It is unclear where the actual shooting took place, but it is in an area with a number of apartments.
