Murrells Inlet residents and visitors are getting a new restaurant to try.

At 4494 US 17 Business, Palm 33 is a steak and seafood chophouse that will feature a bar with a laid-back experience. The restaurant’s Facebook page states the eatery will be pet-friendly with indoor and outdoor dining, and the trees outside will be illuminated with lights.

Palm 33 did not return a request for comment before publication. While the eatery doesn’t have a menu on its website yet, the restaurant promises made-from-scratch meals at a relaxed bar and grill.

“We cook all our steaks over a charcoal flame, bringing out their rich, smoky flavors, and feature an in-house bakery that ensures fresh, irresistible bread and desserts with every visit,” Palm 33 wrote on its website.

The restaurant was previously a pet shop that closed.
