SC beach among top in east coast for 2025. It’s not the only state seaside getaway on list

Myrtle Beach’s 10-mile long beach has been named as one of the top seaside getaways on the east coast for summer 2025.
U.S. News & World Report created its list, highlighting the best beaches from Florida to Maine.
Myrtle Beach is described as sitting at the center of the Grand Strand – known for its 60 miles of shoreline. The beach attracts millions of tourists each year.
The city was lauded for its lifeguard protection and monitoring of water quality during the summer months, as well as its boardwalk shops, restaurants, golf courses and SkyWheel.
The city by the sea isn’t the only South Carolina beach on the list. Folly Beach and Kiawah Island, both just outside Charleston, are also on the list as popular places to visit in the summer.
