A 20-year-old man died two months after being shot in the Longs area.

Isaiah Conner died on March 20 at the Grand Strand Medical Center from gunshot wounds, according to Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard. The Longs man was shot on Jan. 23 along the 300 block of Freemont Road in Longs.

Horry County Police is investigating the death as a homicide, Willard said. The Sun News has requested the police reports.

In the past year, there have been at least two other shootings along Freemont that resulted in injuries, according to Horry County Police. The first occurred July 11 and two people went to the hospital, while a second happened March 13 and another two people were injured.
