Person dies after being injured in March 14 crash on busy street outside North Myrtle Beach
One person died several days after being in a car crash outside North Myrtle Beach.
The collision occurred near the intersection of S.C. 90 and Robert Edge Parkway at 2:40 p.m. March 14, according to a release from Lance Cpl. Lena Butler with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Someone was driving a Subaru Outback north on a ramp while another person was operating a Toyota sedan headed west on Robert Edge Parkway.
The two vehicles collided and EMS brought the Subaru driver to the hospital, where they died from their injuries on March 18.
The person driving the Toyota was not injured and no other people were involved in the crash.
The Horry County Coroner’s Office has not released the name of the deceased.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
