In addition to the tourists, the Myrtle Beach area also has become a mecca for motorcyclists who gather each spring for the spring bike rally.
Myrtle Beach Bike Rally takes place from May 9 through 18, 2025, and is expected to bring thousands of bikers and biker enthusiasts to the Grand Strand.
The bike rally has become so popular that it is named one of the top 10 bike weeks to visit in the United States by several motorcycle websites and previously by the Travel Channel. Depending on what list you follow, Myrtle Beach ranks No. 3 or No. 4.
So for those planning to get their motor running and head out on the highway to join other bikers, here are the top 5 suggested rallies.
No. 1: Daytona Bike Week
This is the most well-known and obviously biggest gathering of motorcylists in the country. This year’s rally was held Feb. 28 through March 9. “Whether you’re there for the bikes, the beach, or both, Daytona Bike Week is a must-see event that kicks off the year’s rally season in style,” according to the website Riders Share. No. 2: Arizona Bike Week
The Southwest rally is set to return to Scottsdale April 2-6, 2025.
No. 3: The One Moto Show
Held in Portland, Oregon, May 2-4, 2025.
No. 4: Myrtle Beach Bike Rally
It’s the first rally of the year along the Grand Strand and also the largest. It’s been operating for more than 80 years, making it one of the longest running rallies in the country. And while motorcyclists have access to the miles of beaches in the Myrtle Beach area, many of the events are held in Murrells Inlet.
