A new Myrtle Beach bar just opened. They specialize in modern cocktails & chic food

A new bar opened their doors in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Pub International, located in the old Ron Jon’s Sports Bar location off of Highway 501, features a cocktail menu with a twist.

Some options include a Paloma made with Casamigos Blanco tequila, a spicy margarita, and an espresso martini.

The new bar’s food menu offers pub classics and has an entire section dedicated to different poutines, or french fries topped with cheese, gravy and veggies. Appetizers include buffalo chicken egg rolls, chicken and waffles and mozzarella bites.

According to Horry County land records, the strip mall off of Highway 501 where the new bar is located, is owned by Starr Investments LLC.

Highway 501 is undergoing a huge expansion as part of Horry County’s Ride III project. According to the county’s ride project estimates, they are expected to cost $50 million.

The highway expansion and improvements will turn U.S. 501 into six lanes from S.C. Highway 31 to the S.C. 544 Interchange, with work conducted in two phases. Once the expansion is completed, This could bring more traffic to businesses along U.S. 501, including Pub International.

Construction estimates show that the highway improvements are scheduled to be finished by 2026.

Pub International operates seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
