Myrtle Beach bubble tea store opens 2nd location. This spot serves food and baked goods
A Myrtle Beach bubble tea shop has opened a second location – this one serving food items and baked goods along with its drinks.
Owners Mike and Caitlyn Rapacz’s East Coast Tea Bar is now serving customers in Surfside Beach at 520 US 17 Business.
Mike Rapacz said the new location allows him to serve food items, such as soups, bread and desserts, unlike the Market Common location at 3091 Deville St. He said the Myrtle Beach store is only allowed to serve its drinks that include bubble tea, coffee and hot or cold tea.
The Myrtle Beach store opened in 2022.
All the food items are made in-house, Rapacz said. The Surfside Beach store also has soft-serve ice cream.
“It’s a one-stop dessert shop,” Rapacz said.
