Midwesterners will now have an easier time flocking to the beach.

A Spirit Airlines release sent Monday morning said the company added five new nonstop flights to Myrtle Beach International Airport.

A new seasonal nonstop flight from Myrtle Beach to Louisville, Kentucky, will begin on March 19, 2025, according to the release.

The airline said they will also be resuming their seasonal nonstop service to Myrtle Beach from Chicago; Cleveland; Latrobe, Pennsylvania; and Rochester, New York.

“We’re excited to expand our route map at Myrtle Beach this spring and connect our MYR Guests to five cities including Chicago (ORD), Cleveland (CLE), Latrobe (LBE), Louisville (SDF) and Rochester (ROC),” a statement from John Kirby, vice president of network planning at Spirit Airlines, said in the release. “Plus, we’re making it easier for leisure travelers across our network to explore over 60 miles of beautiful beaches and golf courses in the Grand Strand.”

The flights are scheduled to resume service on the following days:

  • Chicago (ORD), May 10, 2025
  • Cleveland (CLE), March 19, 2025
  • Latrobe (LBE), May 7, 2025
  • Rochester (ROC), April 10, 2025

According to Spirit Airlines spokesperson, Cameryn Junck, tickets for these flights are available now.
