Early morning power outages occur across the Grand Strand
Residents along the Grand Strand in Surfside Beach, Myrtle Beach, Conway, and Atlantic Beach are without power early Tuesday morning, according to the Santee Cooper website.
Nearly 100 people are without working electricity, but restorations are expected later this morning, according to Santee Cooper officials.
Residents in Myrtle Beach should expect restoration about 5:45 a.m. while Atlantic Beach residents should have power again about 6:15 a.m., according to the Santee Cooper website.
People in Conway can expect power again around 6:45 a.m., while residents of Surfside Beach are expected to have restoration about 7:30 a.m., officials said.
The causes of the power outages were not listed, but happened during a time when the Grand Strand area was blanketed with overnight thunderstorms.
