The eatery was empty, and a red for-sale sign was displayed on the storefront. In the middle of the vacation off-season, the North Myrtle Beach oceanfront lacked the visitors and tourism activity of the summer months.

It once served bagels, but now the restaurant is closed. Bagel Dock Express’ North Myrtle Beach location at 3612 South Ocean Blvd. near the oceanfront in the WindyHill area ceased operations.

The inside of the store was mostly empty — a sign on the front door still read, ‘We will be closed on Thanksgiving’ in January 2025.

Google lists the North Myrtle Beach shop as permanently closed, and the website’s locations list doesn’t include the Grand Strand location. The number listed for the restaurant on Google is also no longer in service. According to Horry County Land Records, the property last sold in 2020 for $800,000 and now has a market value of less than $1.1 million.
