As the Grand Strand welcomes 2025, a new year means more Myrtle Beach bike rallies. While the 2025 Spring Myrtle Beach Bike Rally is still months away, plans are already underway for the celebration that welcomes thousands of visitors every year.
Whether you’re a first-time visitor, annual attendee or Grand Strand local, here are six things you should know if you’re planning for this spring’s rally.
When is bike week?
The 2025 Spring Myrtle Beach Bike Rally will officially run from Friday, May 9 through Sunday, May 18. Sometimes called Myrtle Beach Bike Week or Spring Bike Week, the event’s been an annual draw for bikers and enthusiasts in the Grand Strand since 1940.
Where is it?
Although the rally is named for Myrtle Beach, the event area covers more than 50 miles along the Grand Strand area from Murrells Inlet in the south end to Little River near the North Carolina state line.
What’s the event line-up?
Beyond motorcycle rides along the South Carolina Coast, the Spring Bike Rally offers plenty of opportunities to eat, drink, shop merchandise from bike week vendors and watch live performances.
While events haven’t been officially scheduled yet, biker favorites like the Beaver Bar, Spokes and Bones, the Rat Hole and Suck Band Blow are all popular spots that welcome rally-goers every year.

What other bike events are planned for 2025?
The 2025 Fall Myrtle Beach Bike Rally, the spring bike week’s smaller sister event, is officially scheduled for Friday, Sept. 26 through Sunday, Oct. 5.
The Grand Strand is also home to the long-running Black Pearl Cultural Heritage and Bike Festival in Atlantic Beach. The Festival is held on Memorial Day weekend every year, and will likely run from Friday, May 23 through Monday, May 26.
