A Christmas afternoon structure fire has sent a cloud of smoke into the air in the Myrtle Beach area.

The fire is at Atlantic Sands Rooms and Apartments, 308 Second Ave. N, said Myrtle Beach Fire Captain Jon Evans. There are no reported injuries, according to a social media post. It’s unclear whether Atlantic Sands is operational or what caused the fire.

People shared photos on social media of smoke from the fire being seen along the beach.
