A Myrtle Beach Police officer was involved in a car crash while responding to a call over the weekend.
The accident involving the officer occurred at 7:09 p.m. Sunday while they were headed to a scene, according to a Myrtle Beach Police social media post.
Those hurt were treated for their injuries. The department did not share who was hurt, or the name of the officer involved in the accident.
It’s unclear where the officer was going and what caused the accident.
Information on the accident has been requested. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
