Myrtle Beach area grocery stores open Christmas Eve and Day — here are their hours

If you burn your Christmas ham or forget to pick up a pie crust, you can make a last-minute grocery run at these Myrtle Beach-area grocery stores with limited holiday hours.

All Aldi, Costco, Food Lion, Kroger, Lowes Foods, Piggly Wiggly, Publix, Sam’s Club, Target and Walmart locations around the Grand Strand will be closed Christmas Day, Wednesday, Dec. 25.

However, the major chains in Carolina Forest, Conway, Little River, Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island and Surfside Beach will be open on Christmas Eve with limited hours.

If you need groceries, here’s when area stores will be open on Tuesday, Dec. 24.

Aldi: All area locations will open at the regular time and close at 4 p.m., according to Aldi’s website.

Costo: The Myrtle Beach Costco Warehouse will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the website.

Food Lion: All area locations will close at 6 p.m., a company spokesperson said.

Kroger: All stores will close at 6 p.m., per the Kroger website.

Lowes Foods: The Lowes Foods in Little River will close at 5:30 p.m., an employee told The Sun News. The Pawleys Island, Murrells Inlet and Myrtle Beach locations will close at 6 p.m., according to employees.

Piggly Wiggly: The Myrtle Beach Piggly Wiggly location will be open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the Surfside Beach location will be open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., employees said.

Publix: All Publix stores will open at the regular time and close at 7 p.m., a company spokesperson told The Sun News.

Sam’s Club: The Myrtle Beach Sam’s Club will open at 8 a.m. for plus members and 10 a.m. for regular members, an employee said. The store will close at 6 p.m.

Target: All stores will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to a corporate release.

Walmart: All area locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the Walmart website.
