A newly opened restaurant in Myrtle Beach is for sale after serving patrons for less than a year.

At 136 Sapwood Drive in Carolina Forest, S.C., the national chain Slim Chicken’s location listed on the commercial real estate platform LoopNet in October 2024. The asking price for the property is $3.67 million.

Vincent Aicale represents the restaurant on LoopNet. He did not return a request for comment before publication.

The restaurant went on the market less than a year after opening and construction began. The Sun News reported in May 2024 that the restaurant first received a permit for the drive-through in early January of that year. Construction was underway in May 2024 and opened later in 2024.

According to Horry County Land Records, the property’s market value is about $1.4 million. The property sold in 2023 for $1.36 million.
