A mid-century modern home in Myrtle Beach is for sale, with an open floor plan, tons of windows and a large fireplace.

The house, at 4900 Pine Lakes Dr. near the Pine Lakes Country Club, is listed for $529,500, according to Zillow. The home appears to possess many original features, giving it a distinctive charm not often found in the new builds of Myrtle Beach.

Leading into the home, there’s a brick staircase outside going up to a bright entryway with walls covered in wood panels and a stone floor. Further inside, the living room features a wall of windows looking out on to the covered back porch. The living room and kitchen ceilings are lined with wood beams and unique light fixtures.

The living space is centered around a large fireplace built in to a brick wall. The oven is built in to the side of the wall, which marks the boundary between the living room and the kitchen.

The kitchen has a stove and wooden counters as well as a more modern refrigerator and dishwasher.

The house has three bedrooms, all of which have painted wood panels, wood beams on the ceilings and plenty of light coming in from the windows.

The three bathrooms are decked out in tile. The half bath has nautical-themed tiles with photos of pirate ships, while the full bath next door has a plaid tile floor accented by white and pale green tiles along the walls.

The master bathroom, which is connected to the master bedroom, is full of pink tile. The shower and bathroom walls are studded with the pale-pink squares. These kinds of bathroom tiles were a huge trend in the 1950s, making their way into bathrooms across the United States, according to Modo Bath.

The back porch, off the living area, is closed in, but a wall of sliding-glass doors keep it feeling open and light. The 2,100-square-foot home sits on a half-acre lot filled with oak and magnolia trees.

The back porch has a wall covered in glass sliding doors, letting in ample light while offering some insulation from the elements.
