Hunter shot in Horry County. Here’s what we know about what happened
A hunter was shot Friday morning in Horry County, according to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources.
Officers are investigating the hunting accident that occurred mid-morning, according to a post on X, formerly Twitter.
A single buck shot struck a hunter. The hunter received injuries that appear to be non-life threatening.
The shooting happened near Grass Bay Road in Green Sea, according to a text from SCDNR spokesperson Greg Lucas.
Lucas said there aren’t any additional details.
