Do you and your loved ones have a Turkey Trot tradition on Thanksgiving? Or, are you looking to start one?
These Myrtle beach area races on Thanksgiving Day 2024 are still open for registration and have spots available.
1. 18th Annual Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot
This race is a 5K and participants are able to either walk, run or some combination of both, according to organizers.
The registration fee is $50 plus a $5 sign-up fee. Details on how to register can be found here.
This race also has an option to sign up for the 50-yard Gobbler Kids’ Dash. That race is free and has no registration fee.
The race is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day at Grand Park in The Market Common section of Myrtle Beach.
2. 15th Annual Surfside Beach Turkey Trot
Looking to run a bit more than a 5K on Thanksgiving?
This running race in Surfside Beach, SC has options for a 5K or a 10K, as well as a 50-yard kids race.
About 100 spots were still available for the 5K on Tuesday morning.
It costs $50 to enter the 5K race and $60 to enter the 10K race. Registration details can be found here.
Both races are scheduled to start at 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day at 11 Ocean Blvd S in Myrtle Beach.
Registration ends at 6:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
