It’s no secret that Myrtle Beach is a hot spot for tourists.

Each year millions of people make their way to the Myrtle Beach area for its beautiful beaches, many attractions and a long list of restaurant offerings.

But beyond that, apparently Myrtle Beach gives visitors a deeper feeling than just a vacation spot. It has been ranked the third most fulfilling tourist attraction in the U.S.

The survey, gathered by Betway Insider, an online gaming promotions site, looked at which tourist attractions truly live up to expectations, and which leave visitors wanting more.

True that many people who visit the area or ultimately end up moving here have memories of coming to Myrtle Beach as a child or as a family during the summer months. In addition, the Myrtle Beach area offers many things beyond the beach.

The list is based on Tripadvisor rating and social media posts.

According to the survey, Myrtle Beach has a Tripadvisor rating of 4.5 out of 5 and is shared socially in over 3 million Instagram posts and more than 300,000 TikToks - the highest activity of all the attractions.

The top two attractions in the country are Central Park and Grand Canyon.
