Typical summer entertainment, like lying on the beach and going to Myrtle Waves Water Park, is over as cool weather sets in. But for Horry County residents, now is a great time to take advantage price reductions designed for locals.
A good tip is to ask attractions, bars and even restaurants if they offer discounts for locals.
Here are some attractions locals can do for cheap:
- Horry County residents get 50% off admission to all Ripley’s attractions. Show your ID at the front desk to get the discount
- Horry County residents also get 50% off admission to WonderWorks at Broadway at the Beach. This includes Soar and Explore.
- Get 15% off Medieval Times by using the 15MT discount code.
- Get up to 50% off a Carolina Opry show by purchasing flex tickets. Groups are guaranteed to sit with each other but seats are not assigned until two hours before the show starts. There is a maximum of six tickets per order.
