A new hotel opening in Surfside Beach, SC. When can guests begin booking rooms?
A new hotel is going to fill an empty lot in Surfside Beach in the coming years.
Mayor Robert Krouse announced on his weekly update a Hampton Inn and Suites will open along U.S. 17 in Surfside Beach. It will be located next to Johnny D’s Waffles at 1200 U.S. 17 Business.
Construction is anticipated to start in spring 2025 and the hotel is expecting to open for the 2027 summer season. Once open, it will be the fifth hotel in Surfside Beach, according to Google Maps.
“The owners told us they chose Surfside Beach because beyond being an excellent destination location, they fondly remembered their own vacation experiences here in past years,” Krouse said in a Facebook post.
