Update: Man arrested in deadly Myrtle Beach area shooting. Coroner names man who died

A 21-year-old Longs man has died after being shot Saturday afternoon.

Mikell Lance died at a local hospital from injuries he received in a shooting that happened at Castlers Heights Road in the Longs area, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden.

A 20-year-old has been arrested in the shooting.

Isaiah Andrew Conner was charged Saturday evening with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He remains in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bond.

Horry County Police said the shooting happened at 2:13 p.m., according to a Facebook post.

An arrest warrant said that Lance was shot multiple times about his body.
