A new promotion for Coastal Carolina University basketball offers season ticket holders the chance for a full refund if the Chants have a good season.

If the Coastal men’s and women’s basketball teams win at least 35 games combined in the regular season, the “We Win, You Win” Guarantee program will give season ticket holders of either team a refund for the ticket price.

In the 2023-2024 season, the women’s team won 12 games and the men’s won nine, for a total of 21 wins, and in the 2022-2023 season the women’s won 14 and the men’s won 11, for a total of 25 games.

The promotion is only running for a limited time. To qualify for the promotion, fans need to purchase tickets by Nov. 3.

The announcement drew attention from college basketball fans on social media, with one post about the program gathering more than 4,600 likes in 24 hours.

If the Chants do win at least 35 games, Coastal will refund only the season ticket price, not parking costs or the donation required to get a men’s basketball season ticket.

Men’s basketball season tickets are currently listed at $80 and fans must make a $55 donation to purchase tickets. Women’s basketball season tickets are listed at $60 and don’t require a donation.
