Woman dies after being struck by vehicle while walking along SC road, officials said
A woman died Monday, three days after she was struck by a vehicle while walking along a Conway road.
Nakeeta Stanley, 32, of Conway, died Monday from injuries she received during the accident, according to Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.
The accident occurred about 10:18 p.m. Oct. 18 along West Homewood Road, Willard said in an email.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
