Restaurant and bar in Surfside Beach, SC area closes. When will it reopen?
The Tavern in Surfside announced that it has closed for renovations.
The restaurant, which serves “upscale bar food” like burgers and sandwiches, as well as pizza and pasta, did not explain what kind of renovations will be done nor when the restaurant is expected to reopen.
A call to the Tavern in Surfside and the Tavern in the Forest, which is owned by the same company, was not returned before publication.
The restaurant is located at 8739 Highway 17 Bypass South. The closure began on Sept. 30, according to its Facebook page.
