Does your 2024 holiday destination have direct flights from Myrtle Beach? Here’s the data

Starting to plan your holiday travel?

The Myrtle Beach International Airport, or MYR, typically has more direct flights to different destinations during the busy summer months compared to the slower winter months.

This year it’s no different.

“While our destination is becoming increasingly less seasonal, we see the largest volume of passenger traffic and route availability during the summer months,” airport spokeswoman Lauren Wehrung said via email. “January is typically our slowest month which can be expected as a warm-weather beach destination, however; thanks to our growing population and mild weather, flight schedules begin to increase as early as February for spring travel.”

The following direct flights will continue to operate year-round from MYR including during the holiday season this year, according to data provided by Wehrung:

  • Allegiant Air to Allentown, Pennsylvania
  • Allegiant Air to Albany, New York
  • Allegiant Air to Newburgh/Stewart, New York
  • American Airlines to Charlotte-Douglas, North Carolina
  • American Airlines to Washington-National in Washington D.C.
