Busy Conway, SC, area roadway to close until Friday. What will the detour look like?

A busy road connecting U.S. 501 and S.C. 90 will partially close until Friday as emergency railroad work is being done, according to Horry County.
East Cox Ferry Road will close from U.S. 501 to Husted Road starting Wednesday morning and lasting until around 6 a.m. on Friday, a social media post said. The street will be closed as RJ Corman Railroad Company completes a job on the nearby train tracks.
Traffic will be detoured to Husted Road and Allied Drive. Local traffic will be allowed to continue on East Cox Ferry Road when traveling toward U.S. 501.
It is unclear what work is being done to the railroad. RJ Corman did not return a request to comment before publication.
