Myrtle Beach, SC, area Waffle House catches fire. What we know about the incident
A Waffle House kitchen fire required Horry County Fire Rescue to respond, according to the agency’s social media.
The Waffle House near Socastee, 105 North Strand Parkway, called for help after a fire broke out in the kitchen of the restaurant the morning of Aug. 14.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded about 10:47 a.m. and was able to extinguish the fire.
No one was hurt during the incident. It is unclear if the restaurant is closed. No one answered the phone when called.
