Airplane makes emergency landing at airport in North Myrtle Beach, SC. What we know

A private plane had an emergency landing in North Myrtle Beach late Monday night, according to the North Myrtle Beach Fire Department.

A small aircraft landed without landing gear deployed at the Grand Strand Airport around 11 p.m. on July 29. No one was injured in the incident and there were no hazards.

The North Myrtle Beach Fire Department placed the aircraft under control until MYR Airport Fire Personnel and Federal Aviation Association arrived.

It is not known who was flying the plane and where they were going.

The FAA will investigate.
