Car crash results in one death and two injured near busy Murrells Inlet, SC, intersection
One person is dead and another two people were injured after a car crash near Huntington Beach State Park and the MarshWalk, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Lena Butler.
A Honda Accord and a Subaru Outback collided on U.S. 17 near U.S. 17 Business around 6:10 p.m. on Sunday, Butler said. The Honda was headed west while the Subaru was going north.
The driver of the Honda died while the passenger of the Honda and the driver of the Subaru were sent to the hospital.
Information on the deceased has not been released by the Georgetown County Coroner’s Office.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
