A Little River woman’s videos have gone viral in battle with neighboring HOAs in SC

A Little River, S.C. TikTok user’s videos have gone viral after she began posting about what she says is harassment by neighboring Home Owner’s Associations and community residents.

Going by the TikTok user name @trulyyoursannamarie, Anna Marie began posting about her latest yard decorations after she says she received complaints about a travel trailer she briefly parked in her yard.

Her home, in unincorporated Horry County, is situated between two HOAs but is controlled by neither.

The yard decor is an act of civil disobedience and a fight for private property rights, she explained.

Her videos, set to catchy music, shows an eclectic collection of items in her front yard, including the flags of both Presidents Trump and Biden, a “redneck dream catcher” from which hangs empty beer cans, a kiddie pool, rusty grill, and, of course, pink flamingos - among other items sure to garner attention from neighbors.

According to a TikTok post, her grandmother bought her a chocolate cake to celebrate a million views last week. One of her latest videos has now garnered more than 2.2 million plays.

“All this was at the end of the day was good fun and showing that nobody is going to take (away) the rights of our property and what we’re going to do with it,” Anna Marie said in her video.
