New Carolina Forest restaurant offers upscale bar food. Where it’ll be and when it opens
Carolina Forest will see another restaurant among its landscape as The Goat Bar & Grill opens its doors Wednesday.
It’s the second location for the restaurant, located at 2120 Oakheart Road, that serves upscale bar food such as bulgogi burger, harumaki and tuna tataki and sweet chili shrimp, as well as traditional bar food like nachos, burgers, onion rings and sandwiches. It’s sister restaurant is located in Murrells Inlet.
The restaurant, located in the former King Kong Sushi, opens Wednesday at 4 p.m.
The owners described the restaurant as offering a relaxed atmosphere with cold beers and a unique menu that “is a mash up of items that we like to eat,” the website said.
