Marine traffic closed under bridge in Conway, SC. What we know and when it will reopen
Marine traffic has been closed under the Waccamaw Coast Line Railroad bridge starting Monday afternoon, according to a press release from Horry County.
The Conway was bridge that spans the Waccamaw River was closed after there was a mechanical problem preventing traffic from going under it, according to a press release from Horry County Public Works.
It will reopen once repairs are complete. However, it is unknown when repairs will be complete and when it will reopen.
The bridge is located at mile 44.4.
